The recent shut-down of export markets for post-consumer and other recovered plastics has greatly exacerbated the problem of plastic waste. Much better utilisation of recycled materials is urgently required. This seminar will explore three different approaches from leading plastics recyclers, Replas and Envorinex, and innovative product designers, qDesign. It will also include an update on the use of recovered plastics in road making and a tour through the Replas Environmental Centre.
